A simple photo to show you what I've been working on recently!
My partner and I had these Minifees for years. There are several photos of their old characters in my gallery. A long time ago we decided to re-shell both of these characters as SDs, and after that these two have just been sitting in pieces in a drawer. But not anymore, because we finally figured out what we want to do with them! They will be turned into fantasy themed characters, we'll figure out the details later.
This project is a chance for us to try a different approach to dolls and original characters. Usually we have an already established character in mind and then find a doll to match it. Now we had blank dolls, and try to create characters based on them. Since most of our dolls are quite realistic, we decided to have some fun and try a fantasy theme. I had a lot of fun with their face-ups and body blushing! We're still waiting for their glass eyes to arrive, and are just starting to design clothing and backstories. They don't even have names yet!
